Premier (1700+ or Unrated). 2022 winners in U1900 may enter premier section.  Rated players less than 1700 will only be allowed to play in the other sections.



Entry FeeDCC members: $25 per month or $7 per round. Non-DCC members: $35 per month or $9 per round. Children under 14 receive a $2.00 discount. For immediate families, the 3rd family member plays for free (note: online registration does support this, and all 3 must register and pay. A refund will be give, upon check in, to the 3rd family member)
PrizesBased on entries (the DCC deducts a set amount to cover expenses, and the remainder is the prize fund) 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 2 Upset prizes are awarded in each section.
RegistrationOnline, or at the door from 6:00 to 6:50 PM. When registering online, players must still check in at the registration table before the close of registration. Potential players appearing after 6:50PM will only be accommodated if it does not disrupt the pairing schedule. Online registration helps speed up checking and help for an on-time start.
Round Times7pm Each Thursday (not required to play in every round)
Bye Policy

Up to 1 half-point bye is available anytime for the first 3 rounds. A last round half-point bye must be requested before the start of the penultimate round. Only one Bye will count towards prize money.

NOTE!  Held at a *DIFFERENT LOCATION* than the usual Tuesday tournaments!

All players are welcome to play regardless of covid vaccination status. However, per current policy, players and spectators will be required to sign a DCC liability waiver. Masks are recommended but optional.  As circumstances evolve, the Covid-Policy is subject to change. Consult  for any last minute changes. 

Starting in July, the time control has changed to G70;d10 !, and the club has added a 2nd upset prize in each section
