Summit School of Chess Tournaments have one OPEN section for adult and scholastic players, and five scholastic-only sections based on age and skill level."

"There is one OPEN division, but there will be under prize categories when we have ten or more participants. We often do have 10+ participants."

 (K-3) - Kindergarten through 3rd grade with USCF rating under 800

(4-6) - 4th through 6th grade with USCF rating under 800
(7-12) - 7th through 12th grade with USCF rating under 800
(U1000) - Scholastic players with USCF rating under 1000
(U1400) - Scholastic players with USCF rating under 1400
Open - Open to ALL ages and skills levels, including adults.

Entry Fee$35 if received by 5/2/2020 - $40 if received after 5/2/2020
PrizesPrizes are 80% of non-late registration fees. If there are 10 or more participants - TD will add under section prizes. Example if we have 10 participants prize structure could look like: 1st - $100 2nd - $80 3rd - $60 U1500 - $40

You may request a 1/2 point bye for ANY number of rounds before the tournament begins.

After the tournament begins you may only request 1/2 point byes for rounds 1-3.
